Korcula stone inspired Filigree Pendant

Earlier this month I wrote about local inspiration for our filigree design here in Korcula.

This piece is a reflection of one of the many stone carvings here in Stari Grad.  We have blackened the finer filigree detailing to highlight the fine filigree work.

We are very happy with the result, would love to hear your feedback, what do you think? And where do you find your inspiration for your design work?

  1. THIS IS GREAT! MORE OF THE SAME PLEASE (INSPIRATION ITEM, PROCESS, FINAL CREATION) … FABULOUS AND BEAUTIFUL … AND ALL WITH LOCAL INTEREST THROWN IN (SORRY I was shouting with excitement at the Seba Dizajn creation).

  2. Beth Silvercloud says:

Ruth – I think the design is a treffic addition to your collection. Just a thought: for variety, attach the “bail” at the top of one of the four loops and it would resemble a Maltese cross I think.

    • Seba Silver says:

Hi Beth, thanks so much for your kind comments and suggestions, I think you are probably right about the Maltese cross – I will have to look into that. Kind regards, Ruth
