Can you help with our jewellery designs?

I love this forum for sharing a bit about our jewellery making and life in Korcula – and whatever other random things come to mind.  One of my favourite aspects of social media is the interaction with you.

Our facebook page, www.facebook.com/SebaDizajn is where we see the most interaction and I recently shared some slightly different design ideas for a pair of earrings that Doka was making.  It is great to feedback on design ideas, today I thought that I would share the same photos here and hope that some of your will leave us a comment at the bottom of this short blog piece.

We are currently working on a new collection of filigree earrings, below the photo is the question that I asked on our facebook page last week;

Seba Silver earrings - mismatch pair February 2012

Where do you prefer the catch for the earring; On top of petal (left image) or nestled between two petals (right)?

Leave your preference below, we would love to hear from you.

And, if your would like to see more of our earrings, please head to our website, www.sebasilver.com

  1. It’s interesting the way the two earrings look so different depending upon where the catch is located.

Speaking from the experience of someone who buys earrings for my wife – I would say that both are good and that one might be suited to a longer face or someone with a longer neck, and the other to someone with a rounder face.

That is the extent of my expertise on the subject 😉

Hi David – you sound like someone who knows what they are talking about. I think different lengths and styles of earrings certainly suit different face shapes/hair styles. Thanks for your feedback. (btw the 2 earrings in the pic are different!)

      • Hi Ruth,
        I saw they were different.

By the way, the stones in them look lovely 🙂

Thought you most likely to have noticed but also thought maybe is not the best photo to illustrate the point.. should have used two photos of completed pairs, might’ve been a better idea? ‘Nestled’ pair are on their way to NZ must make another pair like them & re-photograph.
The stone used is coral – thanks again.

    hey ruth

stunning as always – ad as david said: stones look lovely.

on a personal note i would prefer the left one – no matter if it might suit me or not (can.t wear earrings anymore) – the design attracts me more.

love the way the stone is wrapped into the silver!
