Korcula inspired filigree jewellery

One of the pieces on our work table at the moment was inspired by the window above the door to this cute wee church that is located just around the corner from us;

It is wonderful living and working in such an inspiring environment and we really enjoy being able to show guests to our store/website where some of our ideas and inspiration spring from.

You may have already seen on piece inspired by the stonework at one of the entrances to the town? Follow the highlighted link if you would like to see more on that piece.

We are currently doing some ‘in-store’ renovations and jewellery work is on a go slow – although I am happy to report that Doka was doing some filigree work at home last night 🙂

This window inspired piece is looking good, I look forward to sharing the completed with you. We are making a pendant and matching earrings, do you have any other ideas for what we could make from this window work?

Remember to head to www.sebasilver.com to see finsihed pieces of our filigree jewellery and remember that 5% of ALL website sales will be directly donated to Mary’s Meals.

  1. Can’t wait to see the final piece and it’s wonderful to get so much inspiration from around you. What about a brooch for the window design, not sure if it’s still a popular jewellery piece?

    • Seba Silver says:

      Hi and thanks for your feedback! We will let you know when the piece is finished, a brooch is a good idea – we still have brooch requests & I am a fan so maybe I will choose a brooch for myself of this design!

  2. Love the piece- and the inspiration

    • Seba Silver says:

      Thanks Roy, it will be more impressive when it is finished…. hopefully soon – our work table is currently being re-built so it might be a few weeks before Doka gets the chance to complete the pieces.
