Off to a good start

One of my dear friends has recently sent me a couple of books, am so happy to have something new to read and know that I will enjoy anything recommended by Marnie.  The Forrests, by Emilie Perkins arrived in the post today.

Nestled in the opening pages is this quote that I want to share with you,
